I married the wrong man.

I chose safety—until my soulmark flared to life at my sister’s Infernal Union and shattered the illusion.

It didn’t burn for my husband.

It burned for a stranger with a devil’s grin and blood on his hands.

Owen Duvain is a demon cloaked in charm, a walking curse dressed in tailored control. His touch ignites the mark on my skin. His gaze sees the parts of me I’ve hidden from everyone else.

But he’s dangerous. Secretive. Bound to deals inked in darkness and debts still waiting to be paid.

Every instinct tells me I made vows—and I shouldn’t break them.

Even if I’m starting to forget why I made them in the first place.

Now my certainty is slipping, my world splintering, and the man I married is becoming someone I don’t recognize.

Owen doesn’t ask me to choose him.

The bond already has.

GILDED LIES is a romantasy featuring fated mates, a possessive demon anti-hero, and a heroine torn between vows and destiny. Blending obsession, power imbalance, and a dark past, it’s perfect for readers who love “touch her and die” devotion, forbidden attraction, and romances where the wrong choice was made… and fate demands it be undone.

I can’t stop thinking about the kiss with Owen. I didn’t mean to do it. I just did it. On instinct. It was a pull that I haven’t felt in a very long time. Truthfully, I don’t know if I ever really felt that with Rhys.

  • All I can say to start off is …. OMG…. Everyone needs an Owen. I couldn’t put the book down as soon as I started to read it. Even when I did have to put it down, I was always rushing to pick it back up to finish it. This is a must read!!!! 5 stars!!!!. I was about to get my hands on an early copy so I could read and review it.

  • Holy fck! This story. Arabella and Owen. They are everything to me and I can not believe how beautiful their story is. Owen is everything you could ever want, he will do anything for her. Be there for her, love her. Truly see her. Arabella is strong and beautiful. She knows Owen is her future but she does not want to hurt Rhys (but disrespectful! FCK HIM). When it comes out he isn’t who she thought he was it became much easier to let go (THANK GOD!) Her relationship with Owen is exactly what she needed and deserves. He knows her in a way no one else does. I sobbed knowing that they were more than just a mate bond. They were each other’s person and they fit perfectly with one another.

  • Oh boy. I thought the first book was good this morning be is even better! It’s a slow burn and Owen has the patience of a saint. When he took her home after the mate bond appeared and the husband showed up I knew he was going to be a problem. I didn’t like him in the first book and he is way worse in this one. Bella is so headstrong that she thinks she has to handle everything herself, which just means she bulldozes her way through it all. You watch her change a little after she messes up and it was amazing reading her transformation. I connected with this character because she reminded me of the counselor I had when I was in it late teens. So I felt this book in my bones!
